Junior friends met again this month and had a very successful gathering! We’ve discussed a great deal including future plans for the upcoming year and projects that we might be working on. For example, we’re creating our own logo.
We’re now working on choosing a new meeting time for the new year – but for now, plan to meet on Monday, January 10th at 4pm. Can’t wait to see you then!!

We would REALLY love your help!

Saturday, December 11th from 10-12:30. We would be thrilled if you had time to help with baking and setting up for Santa.
Some Jr. Friends have requested that we wear elf shoes and elf hats…. This is of COURSE not required – but you are certainly welcome to dress the part.

I’ve heard great stories of your rock-magnet building efforts!

We are up and running and moving mountains! Thanks to all of you who were able to attend our second meeting. We’re really coming along!
We’ve developed a Jr. Points system and chart as well as planned for upcoming events in December. Check out our calendar for the scoop!
We’re hoping to meet here at the library at 2pm on Wednesday (a half day) November 10th to work on rock magnets for a craft fair fundraiser next week. Come if you can, we’d love to see you then!

This little guy has started early...
The next Jr. Friend event is in full swing, and coming fast!
Looking for jr. friend points? You are cordially invited to attend our annual Fall Clean Up at the Essex Library on Saturday, November 6th.
Every year a bunch of community members turn out to help the library rake up and weed out – and we’d love to have you around! (It’s always so much livelier when we have you with us.)
The event will take place on that Saturday starting at 8 am – but will go until late afternoon. The more participants, the quicker and more fabulous the clean up project!
